Academics is looking for a creative, patient and experienced Dyslexia Specialist Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 tuition to a student with dyslexia. This is a fantastic opportunity for an education professional who can think outside the box, adapt their teaching approach and create an engaging, personalised curriculum that makes learning accessible, enjoyable and rewarding. What will you be doing? Delivering tailored 1:1 tuition to a student with dyslexia. Creating a personalised curriculum that reflects the student's individual needs, interests and learning style. Using creative, multisensory and engaging teaching strategies to support learning. Adapting lessons to overcome barriers to literacy, reading, spelling and written work. Building a positive, trusting relationship to encourage confidence and motivation. Monitoring progress and celebrating achievements, no matter how big or small. What are we looking for? Experience supporting students with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties. A recognised dyslexia specialist qualification or relevant specialist teaching experience. A creative approach to planning and delivering personalised lessons. Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
