About the role
Electrical Technician (SC Cleared)
Location: Full-time on site
Rate: £38.17 per hour CIS
Duration: Long-term contract
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a Time Served Electrician with active SC Clearance (minimum) to join a long-term project working on a secure site.
Key Duties
- BMS installation and maintenance works
- Panel wiring and control panel modifications
- Cable tray installation and containment works
- Electrical installation, testing, inspection and fault finding
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
- Completing site documentation and test records
- Supporting installation, modification and commissioning activities
Requirements
- Time Served Electrician with recognised apprenticeship or equivalent
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience in electrical installation and maintenance within industrial or engineering environments
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Experience with panel wiring and containment systems
- Active SC Clearance is essential (or eligibility to transfer an existing clearance)
Desirable
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Previous experience on highly regulated or secure sites
- Experience working on BMS systems
