EC1A, St Paul's, Greater London Smile Digital Account Director - £50,000 to £60,000 OTE (Remote MUST be UK based) If you are an Account Director who enjoys getting under the skin of a client’s business rather than simply managing projects and timelines, this role is worth a look. We are working with an established digital agency looking for a senior client lead who can build strong relationships, understand what clients are really trying to achieve and make sure the agency is delivering work that creates genuine value. The role is focused on developing and retaining existing relationships rather than being heavily weighted towards new business. You will sit at the centre of the client relationship, bringing together internal specialists, keeping everyone aligned and making sure clients feel that the agency is a true strategic partner rather than just another supplier. You will be: • Taking senior ownership of a portfolio of client relationships • Building trusted relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders • Understanding clients’ wider business goals and turning them into clear digital priorities • Bringing together internal specialists across different digital disciplines • Leading senior client meetings, reviews and strategic conversations • Making sure clients clearly understand the value and impact being delivered • Identifying opportunities to deepen and grow existing relationships • Keeping a close eye on account health, delivery and commercial performance • Managing expectations and resolving issues before they become problems • Supporting retention and long-term account growth • Working closely with internal teams to ensure scope, priorities and delivery remain aligned We are looking for someone with solid agency-side account leadership experience, ideally from a digital, performance, search or integrated marketing agency. You will be commercially aware, confident with senior clients and comfortable challenging when needed. This is not a role for someone who wants to simply keep projects moving. They are looking for someone who can become a trusted partner to clients, understand their business and help shape where the relationship goes next. It could suit an established Account Director or a strong Senior Account Manager who is ready to step up into a broader leadership role.
