The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to support a service in Wales.
This urgent opportunity offers a 6-month locum contract from ASAP to ongoing, working Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. The role is focused on supporting a busy dermatology service through MDT participation, referral triage, and administrative duties.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Consultant Dermatologist who is confident managing dermatology referrals, contributing to multidisciplinary discussions, and supporting efficient service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
You will be working alongside established clinical teams, playing a key role in ensuring timely access to specialist dermatology services.

What You'll Be Doing
- Provide consultant-level expertise within a dermatology service
- Participate in Dermatology Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings
- Review and triage dermatology referrals to support efficient patient pathways
- Complete associated clinical administration and documentation
- Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely records in line with NHS standards
- Contribute to the smooth running and development of dermatology services
- Support safe, effective, and patient-centred care delivery
What We're Looking For
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology (or equivalent experience where applicable)
- Relevant recent UK NHS experience within Dermatology
- Experience participating in MDTs and referral management processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
- Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
