Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next opportunity?
Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of critical infrastructure and high-voltage transmission solutions to hire a Site Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Site Operations Management: Oversee all on-site construction and installation activities, coordinating resources to keep works on schedule and within scope.
Programme Monitoring: Track progress against the project programme, identifying and resolving delays or conflicts before they impact delivery.
Stakeholder & Subcontractor Coordination: Manage relationships with subcontractors, client representatives, and third-party stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations.
Technical Oversight & Reporting: Maintain accurate site records, produce daily and weekly progress reports, and compile documentation for handover packs and audits.
Quality & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to CDM regulations, site-specific H&S requirements, and relevant National Grid standards and specifications.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Site Manager within the energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure industry.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience managing works within high-voltage transmission or distribution environments, ideally with exposure to National Grid or DNO frameworks.
Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record delivering complex, multi-discipline projects on live or brownfield critical infrastructure sites.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, client relationship management, clear communication under pressure, and confident decision-making on site.
Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.
Desirable:
Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), First Aid at Work, and relevant EUSR or SHEA Power accreditations.
Sector Background: Prior experience working on National Grid, electricity transmission, or major utility infrastructure contracts.
