NQ / Junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor

About the Role

Kingsgate Recruitment is working with a well-established law firm in Basingstoke that is looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Junior Solicitor to join its Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ or solicitor with up to approximately 2 years’ PQE who is looking to build their career within commercial litigation and gain hands-on experience across a broad range of contentious matters.

Working alongside experienced solicitors, you will receive support and guidance while gradually taking on greater responsibility and developing your own caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with a broad range of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution matters.
• Conducting legal research and preparing case-related documentation.
• Drafting correspondence, pleadings and other legal documents.
• Supporting senior solicitors with case preparation and strategy.
• Liaising with clients, counsel and other relevant parties.
• Managing your own matters and caseload as your experience develops.
• Attending client meetings and contributing to case discussions.
• Developing your technical knowledge of commercial disputes and dispute resolution.
• Providing a high standard of client care throughout each matter.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a Newly Qualified Solicitor or has up to approximately 2 years’ PQE.
• Has a genuine interest in Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Is commercially minded and confident dealing with clients.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Is keen to learn and develop within a specialist litigation team.
• Can work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Please note: Paralegal applications are not being considered for this position at this stage.
