Financial Analyst

Norwich | Full-Time | Permanent

An opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking for a role that combines management accounting with genuine business partnering.

Working closely with Group Leaders and budget holders, you’ll provide the financial information, analysis and advice they need to manage budgets, plan ahead and make informed decisions.

The Role

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
• Work directly with Group Leaders and budget holders, providing financial advice and support.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and five-year business plans.
• Monitor performance against budget and identify areas requiring attention.
• Monitor the financial performance of grants.
• Produce financial information for Boards and Committees.
• Support statutory accounts and wider Partnership reporting.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

About You

We’re looking for a part-qualified accountant with strong management accounting/budgeting experience who is confident working with non-finance stakeholders.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience preparing management accounts.
• Budgeting, forecasting and business planning experience.
• Strong Excel and finance systems skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to explain financial information clearly.
• A proactive and organised approach.

This would particularly suit someone looking to develop their business partnering and analytical experience alongside their existing management accounting skills.
