About the role
Cover Coach required from November 2026
Scale 4 (Point 7-10) £26,010 - £27,145 (Actual)
35 hours over 39 weeks per annum
Working hours 8.15am-4.15pm (flexible to cover some afterschool activities)
We are looking to appoint a full-time Cover Coach to join our fantastic team of Cover Teachers to cover classes for short term absence of teaching staff. You will additionally play a key role in delivering Sports Coaching within our enrichment programme of after-school activities, working with an outstanding PE department committed to sporting excellence and opportunity. The successful applicant will also be responsible for taking fixtures and leading teams as required by the Director of Sport.
You will be required to cover a range of subjects from Years 7 to 11, including overseeing the completion of set work and managing the behaviour of students.
Our school benefits from and actively contributes to a range of partnerships and we are the lead school for the Bromley Schools’ Collegiate, a School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider for primary and secondary teacher training.
