About the role
We are looking for a committed and inspiring Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our amazing team at Clapgate. In this role, you will play a key role in creating a purposeful, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for our pupils. You will lead engaging and ambitious lessons, support children’s individual learning needs, and help nurture their social, emotional, and academic development as they prepare for the next stage of their education.

- Committed to supporting pupils from lower starting points to make accelerated progress
- Reflective and responsive, using assessment to identify misconceptions and move learning forward

- Passionate about promoting high-quality oracy across the curriculum
- Creative and proactive, with a flexible approach to teaching and learning
- Committed to outdoor learning, including providing opportunities for children to learn alongside and care for our school animals
- A strong team player who contributes positively to the wider school community and works collaboratively with colleagues
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development and continually improving practice
