This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside skilled teaching staff, helping to create a safe, well-resourced and inspiring environment where pupils can develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence.
As our DT Technician, you will be responsible for preparing materials and equipment, maintaining machinery and resources, managing stock and supporting health and safety procedures across the department. We are looking for someone who:
Has a good general education, ideally with experience or qualifications related to Design & Technology, Engineering or Resistant Materials.
Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
Has strong ICT skills and an interest in technology-based equipment and machinery.
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with both staff and pupils.
Is committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety and safeguarding.
In return, we offer:
A supportive and welcoming school community.
Opportunities for professional development and training.
The chance to make a real difference to the learning experiences of young people.
Membership of a successful and growing multi-academy trust.
