Position: Forklift Operator
We are recruiting a competent Forklift Operator to undertake various warehouse duties, including conducting pre-shift inspections, operating the forklift safely and efficiently, and accurately recording inventory movements. As a valued member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Please note, this role may involve heavy lifting, picking, and packing.

Training:
Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic IT skills, with the ability to use computer systems
• Strong team player, comfortable working within a close-knit team
• Excellent proficiency in English communication

Job Offer:

• Hourly rate of £13.62
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 14:00 to 22:00
• Overtime paid at 1.25x or 1.5x, depending on the day
• Weekly pay
• Free onsite parking

• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out pre-shift checks to ensure the forklift is in safe working order
• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently
• Maintain smooth flow of goods within the warehouse
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage racks
• Accurately document inventory movements
• Keep the warehouse tidy and organised
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and uphold quality standards
• Undertake heavy lifting, picking, and packing as required

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Licence – Counterbalance and Reach or Pivot Steer
• Previous warehouse experience
• Strong communication skills
