Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Wiltshire, UK Zest Position: Maintenance Engineer Location: Wiltshire (Commutable from Trowbridge, Westbury, Devises, Melksham Warminster and surrounding areas) Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm Salary: £50,000 - £52,000 About the Role We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility helping to minimise downtime and optimise productivity through safety compliance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment upgrades and, most importantly, collaborating effectively as a team and with all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Assist in covering breakdowns and changeovers * Complete PM routines to ensure the smooth running of the plant * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges * Complete digital confirmation of work completed (CMMS) * Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks and priorities * Be self-sufficient and make decisions autonomously to improve the workplace * Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food safety standards What We're Looking For * Level 3 Electrical Qualification, or an equivalent recognised electrical apprenticeship * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) * Strong electrical and mechanical hands-on engineering skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities * Computer literate (MS Office) * Food manufacturing background - desired For more information, call George @ Zest (phone number removed) or email (url removed) As you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop.
