Job Title: Fire Alarm & Warden Call Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire
Length: Long-term rolling contract
Rate: £220 per day + expense package

Are you a Fire Alarm & Warden Call Engineer based in Hertfordshire looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm & Warden Call Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and PPM on fire alarm and warden nurse call systems across a variety of commercial, residential, and healthcare sites throughout Hertfordshire. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm and warden nurse call systems in line with service schedules.
* Perform reactive maintenance and fault-finding on a range of fire detection and warden call equipment.
* Complete service visits to a high standard, ensuring all systems are left fully operational and compliant.
* Produce accurate service reports and site documentation following each visit.
* Liaise professionally with site contacts and end users to minimise disruption during works.
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant British Standards and company procedures.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems in a field-based role.
* Proven experience working with warden and nurse call systems across commercial or healthcare environments.
* Familiarity with leading fire alarm panels such as Advanced, Hochiki, Kentec, or Gent.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Level 3 or equivalent fire alarm qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
