HR Assistant

Part Time HR / Recruitment Administrator, east Belfast, £28000 FTE

To join an exciting NI business based in east Belfast and offering an excellent package. Office based and working Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm within a supportive team, duties in the role will include;

• Manage accurate, confidential and timely administration across the employee lifecycle, including starters, movers, contractual changes, absence and leavers.
• Support recruitment and onboarding, coordinate interviews, prepare offers, contracts, letters, reports and employee communications, and ensure new starters are ready for day one.
• Maintain HR systems and records, track one-to-ones, probation and performance reviews, and keep templates, forms and guidance current.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, support employee relations administration and escalate appropriately while following employment law, GDPR and company policy.

What we are looking for&

• Administrative experience gained in a similar role (HR, Recruitment, Payroll or similar)
• Ability to manage a steady workload within fixed hours, prioritising and meeting deadlines without losing accuracy
• Confident with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) and quick to learn new systems, ideally with experience of an HRIS system or similar

HR qualification / training is desirable
