About the role
Production Team Lead – Bangor
c. £40k + benefits
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll lead a shift team within an international manufacturing business, ensuring production, quality, safety and customer requirements are consistently met.
Hours: 2-week rotating shift pattern
- Days: Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–7:30pm
- Nights: Monday–Thursday, 7:30pm–7:30am
- Overtime and occasional shift changes may be required at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the production team, promoting positive employee relations.
- Support the Production Supervisor in running an efficient department.
- Ensure production meets quality, safety, customer and ISO standards.
- Maintain high housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with scheduling and purchasing to minimise downtime and waste.
- Support operator training and development.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
- Plan daily activities across people, tooling and machinery.
- Complete relevant D365 requirements and attend training as required.
About You
- Experience as a Charge Hand, Team Leader or Supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Plastics processing experience is desirable.
