Order Picker

Cogent Staffing are currently recruiting for an Order Picker to join a busy warehouse and production support environment.

The role will mainly involve picking materials for production, with some general warehouse duties and put aways as required. Around 90% of the role will be picking materials for production.

Shift/salary:

• Monday to Friday
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• £12.71 per hour
• FLT licence not required
• Additional £20 per week FLT bonus if a valid FLT licence is held

The role:

• Picking materials for production accurately and efficiently
• General warehouse duties
• Putting stock and materials away
• Moving materials safely around the warehouse
• Supporting production with required materials
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy
• Using MHE for heavier items where required

Please note, some materials can be heavy, however MHE is available for heavier items.

The candidate:

• Have previous warehouse or order picking experience, ideally
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Have good attention to detail
• Be comfortable with physical warehouse work
• Be able to work Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Work well as part of a team
• Hold an FLT licence, ideally, although this is not essential
