School Administrator (Cover)

We are seeking an organised, approachable and proactive School Administrator (Cover) to join our busy school office team at Kennet School. This is a key role, coordinating cover for absent staff and providing administrative support to help keep the school running smoothly.

The successful candidate will manage daily lesson cover, arrange supply teachers and internal cover, and maintain an accurate and up-to-date cover diary. They will also support the wider school office with general administrative tasks, answering telephone enquiries and providing a warm and professional first point of contact for pupils and staff.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment. A flexible approach and the confidence to respond calmly to changing circumstances will be essential.
