About the role

Time Appointments are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly regarded law firm who are looking to welcome an experienced Private Client Solicitor to their growing team.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You’ll work closely with a diverse client base, providing trusted legal advice on a range of private client matters while building strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from initial instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on Wills, Trusts, Probate and Estate Administration
  • Providing clear and practical advice on Inheritance Tax and related matters
  • Handling Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters where required
  • Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients and their families
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Liaising with beneficiaries, executors, trustees and other professional advisers
  • Managing client files in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring all matters are progressed efficiently and within relevant deadlines
  • Supporting the wider Private Client team and contributing to the continued success of the department

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified Solicitor with previous experience within a Private Client department
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience across Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload and competing priorities
  • Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Confident working independently while also contributing positively to a wider team
  • A professional, approachable and empathetic manner when dealing with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
