Site Carpenter

Randstad UK CPE Team is looking to onboard a Site Carpenter in Oxford for our ongoing project.

• Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire (OX4)
• Rate: £22.00 - £25.00 per hour
• Type: Temporary (3 - 4 Weeks)

We are urgently recruiting a qualified Carpenter with a valid Blue CSCS Card for an immediate start on a site in Oxford (OX4).

The Role:

• Carrying out site carpentry works (2nd fix installations, snagging, doors, framing).
• Working Monday to Friday, 9 hours paid per day.
• Expected 3 to 4 weeks with potential extension.

Responsibilities:

• Hanging timber and solid-core fire doors plumb and square while installing linings, casings, and required ironmongery.
• Measuring, cutting, and installing architraves, skirting boards with scribed joints, and window boards.
• Levelling cabinetry, joining worktops, and fitting hardware and appliance fronts.
• Framing and boarding pipe chases, duct runs, and service access hatches.

Requirements:

• Blue CSCS Card (Carpentry & Joinery NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) - Mandatory.
• Owntools.
• Full PPE.
• Reliable and punctual with two recent site references.
