Hall Meadow Primary School is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive school at the heart of the Kettering community and part of the InMAT Trust. We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant with Lunchtime Supervisor duties, who has a passion for supporting children.

As a valued member of our team, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering high‑quality, inclusive learning across the curriculum
  • Work closely with individual pupils and small groups to help them overcome barriers to learning
  • Foster positive behaviour, well‑being and strong relationships
  • Supervise and support pupils during lunchtimes, encouraging safe play, social interaction and positive behaviour
  • Contribute to a calm, caring and nurturing school environment throughout the day
  • There is an opportunity to do a HLTA role one day a week, interested candidates can discuss this at interview

  • Has experience in EYFS, this is desirable, but not essential as training will be given

About the Role This is a varied and rewarding position supporting children in EYFS. It involves working 27.5 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 5 hours per week as a Lunchtime Supervisor. It is a fixed term position to 31st August 2027 with the possibility of becoming permanent. There is also the opportunity to work as a HLTA for one day a week (TA 4 days/HLTA 1 day), this will be discussed at interview with interested candidates.
