Salary: £14.55 gross pay per hour

Whitgift is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys, with approximately 1500 pupils including over one hundred boarding pupils and flexi boarding pupils. It is set in an attractive 48-acre parkland site in South Croydon enjoying excellent links to London, Surrey and the south coast.

The Examination Invigilators will work as part of theSchool's examinations team, supporting the smooth and effective delivery ofpublic and internal examinations. The role involves preparing examinationrooms, admitting and seating candidates, distributing examination materials,supervising pupils throughout examinations and ensuring all procedures arecarried out in accordance with examination regulations.

The successful candidates will play an important role inmaintaining the integrity and security of the examination process, includingmonitoring candidates, supporting access arrangements, managing queries orirregularities and securely handling examination scripts and materials.

Work opportunities will vary according to the School'sexamination schedule, with the main periods typically running from mid-Aprilto the end of June, alongside internal examinations in January, Februaryand November. There may also be ad hoc opportunities throughout theacademic year, with invigilators expected to be available between 8.00 amand 5.00 pm when required. Full training will be provided beforeundertaking invigilation duties.
