Cyber Security Architect – SC ClearedLocation: Any UK city Salary: Up to £100,000 DOELevel: Associate ManagerSecurity Clearance: Active SC requiredThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a growing security architecture team working across highly sensitive and technically complex transformation programmes.You will work alongside technical and solution architects to define and deliver secure architectures across enterprise IT and operational technology environments. You’ll also collaborate with information assurance and penetration testing teams to validate security controls and develop effective security solutions.This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical judgement, stakeholder management and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine security architectures for complex enterprise IT and operational technology environments.Work with technical and solution architects to embed security throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.Apply threat modelling techniques to identify threats and define appropriate security requirements.Provide specialist advice on security risks, threat-based mitigation and system design.Manage security requirements throughout the delivery and operational lifecycle.Apply recognised security frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO and CIS.Advise on protective monitoring, authentication and authorisation best practice.Work closely with information assurance and penetration testing teams.Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, technical teams and delivery partners.Communicate complex technical solutions clearly through documentation, presentations and stakeholder engagement.Technical ExperienceWe are particularly interested in candidates with strong security experience in one or more of the following areas:IP networking and Operational TechnologyOn-premises architecture and virtualisationCloud platforms and containerisationDatabases and LLM technologiesMobile technologies and application securitySecurity architecture and secure-by-design principlesThreat modelling, risk assessment and security requirementsSecurity controls, protective monitoring and IAMPrevious experience working specifically as a Security Architect is desirable, but strong technical security specialists with clear architectural capability will also be considered.Essential Security RequirementsActive SC security clearanceSole British national / British passport holder with no dual nationalityWhat’s on OfferSalary of up to £100,000 DOEAssociate Manager-level positionUK-wide opportunityExposure to highly sensitive and technically complex transformation programmesOngoing technical and professional developmentComprehensive benefits package
