Support Worker Children

Location: Caerphilly, Abertillery and across South Wales

Pay: £16.00 - £20.00 / hr (Weekly Pay)

Hours: Flexible shift options available - Full time hours or pick up as and when you're available

At Randstad, we don't just fill shifts, we build packages of support that work for both you and the young person. We are actively hiring Children's Support Workers across South Wales to support children in residential homes and community support networks.

Day-to-day work varies based on the young person's care plan:

• In the Community: Taking young people to activities like swimming, parks, and appointments.

• In Residential Care: Supporting children with daily routines, emotional support, and life skills.

• Packages of Care: Focusing on the outcomes of the child, helping them to work through behaviours, establish positive routines and habits, using trauma informed approach and therapeutic approaches to support our young people.

• Family Support: Assisting with supervised visits and 'mother-and-baby' placements in hospital and in the family homes

You'll fit right into our team if you have:

1. Experience in youth care, neurodivergent support, or complex behavior settings.

2. A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to emotional challenges.

3. Strong awareness of safety and professional boundaries.

• Great rates of pay (£16.00 - £20.00/hr PAYE).
