Key Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver guided reading, phonics, and basic numeracy intervention workshops to small groups.
Assist the class teacher in setting up learning activities and creating interactive displays.
Provide targeted support to pupils who require extra help accessing the daily curriculum.
Supervise pupils during structured lesson breaks, assemblies, and outdoor play.
Monitor student participation and share feedback directly with the class teacher.
Requirements for the Role
Previous experience working with children (e.g. in primary schools, nurseries, youth clubs, or sports coaching).
Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above).
A proactive, encouraging demeanor paired with strong communication capabilities.
An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or readiness to process one with us).
High adaptability when supporting varied primary key stages.
