We’re seeking a CAD Technician with a passion for precision and innovation to support the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your technical skills will directly contribute to the success of high-profile developments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and amend 2D drawings and graphical information to client and project standards.

  • Manage drawing documentation and issue electronic/hard copies.

  • Operate and maintain Common Data Environments (CDE) such as ProjectWise, Themis, or ACC.

  • Support BIM processes including clash detection, space proofing, 3D modelling, 4D scheduling, and quantity take-offs.

  • Prepare visual models and drawings to demonstrate design viability.

  • Ensure spatial coordination and compliance with BIM Execution Plans.

  • Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and BIM representatives.

  • Deputise for the BIM Coordinator when required.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Bentley systems.

  • Familiarity with BIM tools including Revit and 4D software.

  • Understanding of BS/PAS/ISO standards and infrastructure design processes.

  • Ability to identify and apply CAD/BIM standards.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sustainability principles in design.
