Are you an experienced Security Installation Engineer looking for your next opportunity?
Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of commercial security systems to hire a Security Installation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of a range of security systems across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards and in line with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
System Installation: Install intruder alarm, access control, CCTV, and intercom systems across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites.
Commissioning & Testing: Commission and test installed systems to manufacturer specifications, ensuring full functionality prior to handover.
Client & Site Liaison: Liaise with clients, site managers, and wider project teams to coordinate access, programme works, and manage expectations on-site.
Technical Oversight & Reporting: Complete accurate installation records, commissioning documentation, and handover packs to company and client standards.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant British Standards, including BS EN 50131, BS 7858, and applicable health and safety regulations.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Security Installation Engineer within the physical security industry.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with leading access control and CCTV platforms such as Paxton, Hikvision, Dahua, Texecom, or equivalent intruder alarm systems.
Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering installations across commercial, retail, or industrial environments with minimal supervision.
Soft Skills: Strong client-facing communication, methodical fault-finding, and the ability to manage own workload effectively.
Mobility & Eligibility: Full UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.
Desirable:
Certifications: NSI or SSAIB-approved company background; ECS/CSCS card; SIA licence; FIA or equivalent industry training.
Sector Background: Prior experience on large commercial fit-outs, critical infrastructure sites, or multi-site rollout programmes.
