About the role
We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team based in Allenton, Derby.
This is a hands-on role involving Counterbalance FLT driving, picking and packing, along with general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating a Counterbalance FLT
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving and storing stock around the warehouse
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Packing orders ready for dispatch
- Checking stock and orders for accuracy
- Preparing goods for delivery and collection
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general warehouse duties
About You
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT is essential
- Must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certificate
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience with picking and packing
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willing to get stuck in
Shift Requirements
Monday to Friday
You must be available to work both of the following shift patterns:
- 6:00am – 3:00pm
- 8:00am – 5:00pm
Flexibility to work either shift is essential.
- £13.00 per hour
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Allenton, Derby
