Job Title: CCTV Engineer
Location: Derby
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

Are you a CCTV Engineer based in Derby looking for your next opportunity? As a CCTV Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV and video surveillance systems across a variety of commercial and public sector sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Install, commission, and maintain CCTV systems including analogue, HD, and IP-based cameras and recording equipment.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to reactive call-outs to diagnose and resolve system faults.
* Configure DVR, NVR, and VMS platforms to client requirements and ensure systems are functioning correctly before sign-off.
* Complete detailed service reports and site documentation following all visits.
* Liaise with clients to explain system operation and address any queries or concerns on-site.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Minimum 3 years' experience installing and maintaining CCTV systems in a commercial environment.
* Proficiency with IP networking fundamentals as they apply to CCTV system configuration.
* Experience with leading CCTV platforms such as Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, or Hanwha.
* Full UK driving licence.
* NSI or SSAIB CCTV engineer accreditation (desirable).
* IPAF or PASMA certification for working at height (desirable).
