Mobile Gas Engineer

Mobile Gas Engineer – North-West Sites – Commercial Catering – Up to £45,000 salary

Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Service Engineer to join a dynamic team based in the North-West of England. This role primarily involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial catering gas equipment.

Working hours are typically 8am to 5pm, with door-to-door travel time compensated and overtime paid at time and a half after 30 minutes travel each way. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault-finding, breakdown repairs, and routine maintenance, ensuring all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. You will be provided with a company van, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop, uniform, and PPE. Ongoing training and development opportunities are included, alongside a pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
• Service, maintain, and repair commercial catering gas equipment
• Conduct fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs efficiently and safely
• Ensure compliance with all relevant gas safety standards and regulations
• Travel to various sites across the North-West, including occasional out-of-town locations
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report as required
• Promote safe working practices and use of PPE at all times
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional communication

Package:
• Up to £45,000 basic salary

Required Skills, Certifications & Standards :
• Commercial ACS Gas Qualifications
• Commercial Catering Gas Qualifications
• Experience with unvented hot water systems
• IPAF & PASMA certified
• Proven experience in commercial gas servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns
• Experience working with unvented hot water
• Experience working on commercial catering equipment (desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
