Warehouse Operative – Day Shifts

Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
Pay rate: £14.10 per hour
Working pattern: 5 days out of 7, including weekends as required

24/7 Staffing is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join the team at Smyths Toys – Alto Warehouse in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Previous warehouse experience is not essential, as full training is provided.

Shift availability

There are two shift patterns:

• 6:00am–4:00pm

• 11:00am–8:00pm

Applicants must be available to work both shift patterns. Management will assign shifts according to operational requirements. Candidates cannot select a preferred shift, so please only apply if you can work either pattern as required.

Key responsibilities

• Picking and preparing orders

• Scanning and sorting stock

• Loading and unloading goods

• Wrapping and moving pallets

• Operating PPT equipment following training

• Completing general warehouse duties

Requirements

• Availability for both shift patterns and weekend work as required

• Reliability, punctuality and good attendance

• Willingness to learn and follow health and safety procedures

• Safety shoes must be worn; hi-vis is provided
