Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Civil Supervisor to support water infrastructure projects on a contract basis. The role will involve overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and maintaining high standards of safety, health, environmental and quality compliance throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising and managing day-to-day civil construction activities on site
• Managing subcontractors to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards
• Monitoring compliance with site safety, health, environmental and quality requirements
• Ensuring adherence to established procedures and project guidance
• Placing orders and raising requisitions as required
• Maintaining accurate site diaries, records and project documentation
• Supporting effective communication between site teams, subcontractors and project management

Job Requirements:

• Experience in civil construction supervision, ideally within the water or utilities sector
• Current SMSTS certification
• Valid CSCS Gold Card or Black Card
• Strong understanding of site management and subcontractor coordination
• Knowledge of SHEQ requirements and construction compliance procedures
• Ability to manage orders, requisitions and site documentation accurately
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment
