Are you an experienced Care Coordinator looking for a flexible opportunity with a well-established care provider? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same?
We are recruiting for a dedicated and organised Care Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services across the Enfield area.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines care coordination, client support, field-based duties, and participation in an on-call rota.

The Role
Working closely with the Registered Care Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service. You will coordinate care delivery, support care staff, maintain compliance standards, and ensure service users receive safe and effective care.
Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage care staff rotas on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Ensure all care calls are covered and communicated effectively.
  • Conduct new client assessments, reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor care plans.
  • Carry out spot checks and quality assurance visits.
  • Audit care records and daily notes to ensure compliance and high standards of care.
  • Provide support, supervision, induction, and guidance to care staff.
  • Respond to client, family, and staff enquiries by phone and email.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide detailed handovers.
  • Support safeguarding, incident reporting, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Build positive relationships with service users, families, and external professionals.
  • Assist with promoting and developing the service within the local community.

Emergency & Field-Based Support
This is a hands-on role and requires a candidate who is prepared to support care delivery when necessary.
You will be expected to:

  • Respond to emergencies and urgent care situations.
  • Cover care visits when suitable cover cannot be sourced.
  • Provide out-of-hours support during your allocated on-call periods.
  • Travel throughout the borough to support clients and staff.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Care Coordinator who:

  • Has previous experience coordinating domiciliary care services.
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
  • Has experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and care plan development.
  • Is confident managing rotas and staffing challenges.
  • Is an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Remains calm and organised under pressure.
  • Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance requirements.
  • Is fully IT literate, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using scheduling systems such as Webroster would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
  • Is flexible and willing to participate in an on-call rota and provide emergency cover where required.

If you are an experienced Care Coordinator looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can make a genuine difference, we would love to hear from you.
