About this Role
Are you an organised, proactive, and friendly individual looking for a rewarding role in Education? We are seeking a School Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the smooth running of our school.
Shrivenham CE Primary School (which is part of Cambrian Learning Trust) is a growing and successful school with happy, well-motivated and hardworking children and staff. We have recently moved into our brand-new, purpose-built school, expanding to include a 3-4yr old Pre-School provision. We currently have 250 children on role with increasing numbers as we grow to a 1.5 form entry school.
The role is offered for 18 hours per week, ideally Monday-Friday mornings.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing school records, attendance, and admissions
Handling enquiries from parents and staff
Supporting teachers and leadership with administrative tasks
Assisting the organisation of school events and meetings
Maintaining school policies and compliance documentation
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, experience of working under pressure and dealing with a diverse workload. A positive, can-do attitude with keen attention to detail is essential. Previous experience in a school office would be desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
What the school offers its staff:
- A happy and positive working environment in a brand new building
- Polite and engaged pupils who are motivated to learn
- A supportive staff team with a caring and inclusive culture where everyone can flourish
- A supportive leadership team who is committed to ensuring staff wellbeing is a high priority
- Close links with supportive Governors, the local community including the Church and a strong PTA
- Opportunities for continuing professional development including working with staff in other schools and a Trust wide Centre of Professional Excellence package
- Generous local government pension scheme and access to a range of Employee Assist services
Cambrian Learning Trust is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from a range of backgrounds to represent diversity in line with our schools’ community.
