Location: Holton Heath
Contract: Temp (1 month) with potential to extend
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday
Pay: £13.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary Purchasing Assistant to join their Purchasing Department. Our client is looking for someone to provide temporary support with the day-to-day purchasing function.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous purchasing, procurement, supply chain or relevant administrative experience to join a busy team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Buyer with day-to-day purchasing activities.
• Raising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and queries.
• Monitoring outstanding purchase orders and following up with suppliers.
• Assisting with supplier enquiries, pricing and quotations.
• Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Communicating with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements.
• Supporting the team to ensure materials and products are ordered in line with business requirements.
• Identifying and escalating any potential supply or delivery issues.
• Providing general administrative support to the Purchasing Department.
