Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary School Teacher looking for rewarding teaching opportunities in Walsall? Do you enjoy working across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) classrooms and making a positive impact on pupils’ learning?
Zest Education is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work in a variety of primary schools across Walsall. We are seeking flexible teachers who are confident delivering engaging lessons across all primary age groups and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers who are looking for day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, or longer-term teaching positions within welcoming and supportive schools.
Primary School Teacher Responsibilities
As a Primary School Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Follow school planning or create lessons that meet the needs of pupils.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
- Adapt teaching methods to support varying learning needs.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and leadership teams.
Primary School Teacher Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have recent UK primary school teaching experience.
- Be confident teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be passionate about supporting children’s educational development.
