What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver bespoke English intervention across KS3 and KS4 to raise attainment
Mentor students one-to-one and in small groups, targeting key progress areas
Support classroom teaching in partnership with exceptional English specialists
Tailor literacy strategies for learners with SEN, EAL, and high-potential students
Track progress and celebrate achievements, boosting student confidence and ambition
Innovate and contribute to enrichment programmes and reading clubs

Ideal "English Academic Mentor" for this Newham School:

First-class or 2:1 degree in English or closely related subject
