Food Production Operative

Cogent Staffing is recruiting on behalf of our client for reliable and hardworking Production Line Workers to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on role suited to candidates who are comfortable working in cold conditions, have a strong work ethic, and are able to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures. You will be working as part of a team to support the smooth running of the production and packing process.

Shift/salary:

• Starts available ASAP
• Shift work with starts as early as 04:00 but flexibility
• £12.71 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• 30 minutes unpaid break per day
• PPE provided

The role:

Duties will include:

• Working on a busy production line
• Packing and stacking products into trays
• Moving completed products into storage areas
• Working in a chilled and freezer environment for extended periods
• Ensuring products are correctly labelled and organised
• Following all hygiene, health and safety, and quality procedures
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and well organised
• Supporting the wider production team with general duties as required
