Contract type: Temporary Fixed Term to 31st March 2029, Full Time, 37 Hours

Would you like to help lead system-wide change that improves outcomes for children and young people with SEND?

Doncaster is delivering an ambitious SEND Transformation Programme focused on inclusion, early intervention, sufficiency, preparation for adulthood and stronger partnership and co-production working across education, health and care.

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex projects that support this agenda, ensuring the programme is delivered efficiently to achieve measurable improvements for children, young people and families.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of strategic SEND reform and transformation programmes.
  • Manage programme planning, governance, reporting and risks.
  • Work collaboratively with education, health, social care, parent carer forums and wider partners.
  • Provide high-quality programme management advice and support.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with our local and national priorities.
  • Lead and support programme staff, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Drive sustainable change that improves inclusion, service quality and outcomes for children and young people.
