About the role
Purchasing Co-Ordinator. Salford. £30k – £33k doe
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the day to day purchasing activities of a well established, successful manufacturing company based in Salford. Duties will include;
- Placing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
- Chasing deliveries and expediting urgent orders
- Responding to purchasing queries
- Maintaining supplier and purchasing data within the ERP system
- Monitoring and ordering stock
- Assisting with supplier audits and performance reviews
- Identifying and escalating potential supply chain issues
To be successful, you will have previous experience within Purchasing/supply chain – ideally in a manufacturing environment, be organised, proactive and comfortable dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
