Forrest Recruitment are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity on behalf of our client, a successful business operating across European markets, who are looking to appoint a European Sales Executive.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to join a growing team and play a key role in expanding the company’s presence across Europe. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with prospective clients, and helping to increase market share across targeted European markets.

The Role

Working closely with the European Business Development Manager, you will take an active role in developing new commercial opportunities and building a growing European client database.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities across European markets
• Generating new leads through research, digital networking, direct communication and industry trade shows and events
• Maintaining accurate CRM records, ensuring leads, meetings, opportunities and sales performance are recorded effectively
• Building long-term relationships with European distributors and clients
• Developing opportunities to support sales growth across target European markets
• Preparing and delivering tailored presentations to prospective clients
• Building and maintaining a growing database of European clients and prospects
• Introducing and onboarding new customers and business partners
• Attending European trade shows and exhibitions to generate new opportunities

About You

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, driven and keen to develop a career within business development.

Previous B2B sales or account management experience would be advantageous, but this is not essential. More important is your attitude, determination and willingness to succeed.

You will ideally have:

• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A confident and professional approach when speaking with prospective clients
• A genuine desire to develop new business and build lasting commercial relationships
• A proactive approach to lead generation and relationship building
• The flexibility and willingness to travel across Europe for client meetings, trade shows and industry events
• Additional European language skills would be beneficial
