Location: Bruce Power Site, Tiverton, Ontario
On-Site: Yes
Duration: 1-Year Contract (Extendable)

Hourly Rate: $70–$80/hour
Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Electrical Quality Specialist to support quality control and inspection activities at the Bruce Power site in Tiverton, Ontario.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical quality inspections, verifying work against engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and applicable codes and standards, and ensuring that completed work meets project and nuclear quality requirements.
This is a 1-year contract with the potential for annual extensions, working on a 4x10 schedule, fully on-site at Bruce Power.
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections of electrical systems, equipment, components, and installations to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and applicable codes and standards.

Conduct inspections and quality surveillance throughout electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Review electrical installation and workmanship for compliance with project requirements and approved procedures.

Verify cable installations, terminations, grounding/bonding, electrical equipment, raceways, and associated components as applicable.

Review inspection and test documentation, drawings, work packages, and quality records.

Identify, document, and track non-conformances and support corrective action and closeout activities.

Perform quality surveillance of construction and field activities and provide feedback to project and construction teams.

Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and quality assurance personnel to ensure project quality objectives are met.

Participate in quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities.

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable nuclear quality assurance requirements, site procedures, and Bruce Power safety standards.

Maintain accurate and complete inspection documentation and quality records.
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of electrical quality control/inspection experience in an industrial, power generation, or construction environment.

Experience working within the nuclear or power generation industry is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of electrical construction, installation, inspection, and testing practices.

Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, procedures, and work packages.

Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Experience with inspection documentation, non-conformance reporting, and corrective action processes.

Nuclear quality assurance or Bruce Power site experience is an asset.

Relevant electrical trade certification, engineering technology diploma, or other technical qualification is an asset.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently in a field-based construction environment.
