Pertemps are currently recruiting for a CMM Inspector and Programmer to join a growing manufacturing business based in Lymington. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a CMM Inspector & Programmer:
- Mechanical inspection of parts using callipers, micrometres, digital height gauge, shadowgraph and other gauges
- CMM programming
- Meet the requirements of the production schedule
- Maintain documentation and records
- Maintain an effective equipment and tooling calibration system
- Cleaning and packing of parts as needed
- Carrying out internal audits
- Ensuring all CMM programmes are accurately done in accordance with drawing requirements
Requirements for this position:
- Previous CMM experience
- Competent in the use of precision measuring equipment
- Competent In the use of interpretation of machined component manufacturing drawings
- Internal auditing knowledge to BSI standards
- Ideally used Keyence, Rational Dimis or Mitutoyo software
- Confident Microsoft Excel user
The CMM Inspector and Programmer Role:
- Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm
- An hour early finish on a Friday
- Starting salary of £38,000 - £40,000, negotiable depending on experience
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
