About the role
Are you looking to expand your career in Credit Risk Modelling?
This is a newly created hands-on credit risk modelling role, building IFRS 9, PD and LGD models, and scorecards rebuilds to support IRB development or validation for UK lenders. Credit risk is the core of the role, with room to work across data engineering and applied AI where it interests you.
Experience required:
*Relevant experience in credit risk, analytics, data science or quantitative analytics
*Hands-on experience of a minimum of one IFRS 9 and/or IRB model, scorecard development or model validation
*Bachelor’s degree in a related field (mathematics, statistics, physics, econometrics, engineering, computer science or similar)
*A relevant Master’s degree would be advantageous
Proven Python and SQL skills
*A genuine interest in lending and its regulation, including the IRB rulebook, IFRS 9 and PRA expectations
Candidates must be based in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
