We’re working with a respected construction contractor delivering a range of education and industrial projects across London. As lifting operations become increasingly critical to project delivery, we’re seeking an experience Slinger Signaller to direct crane operations and ensuring loads are safely attached.



This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Slinger Signaller to play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant and efficient lifting operators across a variety of construction environments.





Responsibilities



As a Slinger Signaller, your responsibilities will include:

Attach and secure loads to cranes using appropriate lifting gear and techniques
Direct and signal crane operators using standard hand signals or radio communication
Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with lift plans
Check lifting equipment (slings, chains, shackles, etc.) before use
Maintain clear communication with crane operators and site teams
Monitor load stability and ensure safe movement across site
Follow all site health & safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents
Assist with general site duties when required




Person



To be successful in this Slinger Signaller role in London, you will need:

Valid CPCS, ideally Blue or NPORS Slinger/Signaller card (essential)
Proven experience in a similar role on construction sites
Strong understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Desirable qualifications:

Lifting Operations endorsement (A40 or equivalent)
Experience working with different types of cranes (tower, mobile, etc.)
First Aid or additional site safety certifications
