Accounts Assistant – Temporary

£13.00 – £15.00 per hour

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a business in Scarborough on a temporary basis.

The business has recently implemented a new accounting software system and is looking for additional support within the finance team while they work through the transition.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting with day-to-day finance and accounts duties
  
  
• Processing purchase ledger invoices and maintaining accurate records
  
  
• Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving queries
  
  
• Assisting with bank reconciliations and general ledger work
  
  
• Supporting the wider finance team with additional tasks as required
  
  

We’re looking for someone with previous experience working within a finance or accounts environment who can quickly get up to speed and provide reliable support to the team.

Previous Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant experience would be particularly relevant.

This is a temporary opportunity and would suit someone who is immediately available or available at short notice.

Salary: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour
