People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, a fixed afternoon shift, weekly pay, ongoing work and opportunities for long-term career progression.

£14.39 Per Hour | £21.59 Overtime | Monday to Friday | 2PM–10PM | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker, LLOP Operative or Warehouse Assistant.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 2PM to 10PM
 • Fixed afternoon shift

Rates of Pay

 • Basic rate: £14.39 per hour
 • Overtime rate: £21.59 per hour after 37.5 hours

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

 • Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
 • Operating LLOP equipment safely and effectively
 • Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks
 • Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries
 • Preparing and labelling goods ready for dispatch
 • Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
 • Ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely
 • Following all health and safety guidelines
 • Using handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment as required
 • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

Essential Skills

 • Basic level of spoken and written English
 • Reliability and good timekeeping
 • Strong communication skills
 • Ability to work well as part of a team
 • Positive and proactive attitude

Desirable Experience

 • Previous warehouse experience
 • Experience using handheld scanners
 • Experience operating LLOP equipment

Training Provided

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
