People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer to join our well-established client based in Raunds, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, a fixed PM shift, weekly pay, ongoing work and genuine long-term career progression.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker, Warehouse Assistant or Goods In Operative.

UP TO £19.91 PER HOUR • FIXED PM SHIFT • MONDAY TO FRIDAY • NO WEEKENDS • IMMEDIATE STARTS

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 12:00pm – 8:30pm
 • Fixed PM shift
 • No weekend work
 • Ongoing work available
 • Immediate starts available

Rates of Pay

 • £13.27 per hour – 12:00pm to 7:00pm
 • £17.05 per hour – 7:00pm to 8:30pm
 • £19.91 per hour – overtime after 40 hours worked per week
 • Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, your duties will include:

 • Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
 • Carrying out stock control and regular stock checks
 • Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries
 • Preparing, labelling and wrapping goods ready for dispatch
 • Loading and unloading vehicles safely
 • Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
 • Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
 • Using hand-held scanners and warehouse equipment where required
 • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
 • Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, you will need:

 • A basic level of spoken and written English
 • Good communication skills
 • A reliable and punctual approach to work
 • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
 • Good attention to detail
 • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience

 • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
 • Experience using hand-held scanners or similar warehouse equipment is beneficial
 • Experience within picking, packing, Goods In, Goods Out or dispatch would be advantageous

 • Ongoing development and support throughout your assignment
