Holt Engineering are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established and growing engineering business in Poole.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous stores, warehouse or goods-in experience to join a professional manufacturing environment, supporting the smooth movement of components and materials throughout the business.
As a Stores Operative, you will play an important part in keeping production running efficiently.

As a Stores Operative, you will play an important part in keeping production running efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming goods
- Picking and issuing components and materials to production
- Preparing parts and materials for manufacturing
- Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out stock checks
- Packing and preparing finished items for dispatch
- Moving materials safely around the site
- Checking deliveries and associated paperwork
- Keeping the stores area organised, clean and tidy
- Working closely with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when required
- Experienced within a stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Organised and methodical with good attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual handling and working in a hands-on role
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Confident following processes and handling stock accurately
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Keen to develop their skills within an engineering/manufacturing environment
