We are looking for an experienced Business Change Manager to support an enterprise wide Change Programme. This is a complex piece of work and we are looking for a confident Business Change Manager to hit the ground running.

The Role

This is a 6 month contract, outside IR35 and based in the North East. This programme will introduce fundamental changes to processes, responsibilities and day-to-day ways of working. You will lead the business change activity, helping internal teams understand the reasons for the transformation, prepare for its impact and successfully adopt new working practices.

This is a hands-on role for a confident change professional who can challenge established thinking, overcome resistance and maintain momentum throughout a complex transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business change activity across the Enterprise wide Change programme.
  • Deliver change, develop stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
  • Assess how new processes and service arrangements will affect internal teams.
  • Coordinate Programme and wider communications.
  • Develop and coordinate training and business readiness plans.
  • Introduce and embed new processes and more efficient ways of working.
  • Identify resistance to change and develop practical plans to address it.
  • Challenge existing ways of working and ensure agreed changes remain aligned with the programme's objectives.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable for change actions, decisions and deadlines.
  • Monitor adoption, readiness and progress, escalating risks where necessary.

Key Requirements

  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
  • Experience creating change, communication, engagement and training plans.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to challenge the status quo and push activity forward.
  • Strong understanding of business readiness, change impact and adoption.
  • Availability at short notice and willingness to work onsite in the North East for 2 to 3 days per week.
