Roofer

ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Tranent, is currently looking to recruit 2 Roofers, on an initial 3-month contract (with potential extensions) on a rate of c.£16.26/hour PAYE (based on experience).

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out roofing repairs to stock
• Working alongside other trades, with jobs taking place in both tenanted and empty properties.

Essential Experience:

• Driving Licence
• Served modern apprenticeship/SVQ Level 3 or previous equivalent and passed skills test. Relevant trade qualification
• Relevant trade experience in domestic and commercial market
• Understanding of effective customer care
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Effective organisational and time management skills
• Ability to use own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
• Ability to develop effective relationships with stakeholders

Desirable Experience:

• CSCS card
